PSO2 JP AC Scratch: Golden Week Limited 2017
Last Jump to page: Results 11 to 20 of Thread: Acceptable Equipment! Great ideas here. They are certainly a lot easier to get. Just to clarify, this guide is far from done. I brought up bio weapons due to their availability to free players, their multiclass properties, and generally decent potentials. I'll try to add more to the guide soon, so thanks for the input everyone! Yea but I think a big source of players with junk gear is that they think their only upgrade path is XQ and Saiki which takes ages.
I'm more of a "here and now" kind of person.
Run SH Maggy. Now go run TACOs and affix them up. Endgame players will be running XH Maggy due to the 4-run nerf anyway. Last edited by Selphea; Mar 9, at AM. A lot of the Block 1 peeps really need to see this, lol. Just be prepared to hear the, "I play for fun", junk get tossed around. Why no love for XQ units?
If I didn't just skip that part on accident since I glanced over. Originally Posted by Megidolaon. Originally Posted by NovaanVerdiano. Last edited by milranduil; Mar 9, at PM. Both sets give me an excellent defense. With my affixed Folly set, I have a total of PP, which is very useful. One of the best unit sets in the game is the new 11 star set that drops from the boss of the new area. On my legs, I have a Dezer Plate which I ended up with via the above method of figuring things out.
Oh, late reply, I never got a notification for this post. Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I'm not a premium player but I'll certainly keep my eye out for those suggestions.
Fighter certainly has more durability to it naturally then Gunner or Ranger, even if Max HP is similar. Before Limit Break that is XD. Ah okay, that's comforting. I'm only starting to scratch at V. Grinded as much as possible, and Extended the Arm unit as well. Using set weapons isn't particularly useful in my opinion. It really limits your options when you eventually switch to a scary new blade.
For ranged, you'll want t-def crafted tian and a white tail. White tail gives 10 PP. For melee, gloam 60 s-atk and white tail 10 PP work nicely. They're also a lot more casual friendly because of their high defense and HP bonuses. If you're feeling hardcore, you can craft them with t-def to kill the HP bonus and extra defense in favor of 3 PP per piece.

I'm looking for someone to help me out. What PA's should i not use and what PA's should i use. You need to run it on XH, however. Crafted Parallel Slider: you will be using this quite a lot as well on mobile targets, as well as bosses. You will be using SatCan occasionally only.
Using H. One-Point: may have its usage; I still use it occasionally, but Crafted Parallel Slider pretty much rendered it obsolete, since it has more mobility than One-Point. Crafted Divine Launcher: your "default" to-go-to-universal nuke PA for mobbing; it works at any range; aim for the ground near mobs, what you want is its AoE.
PSO2 Gearing Guide – When and What to Gear
Zero Distance: it's fast and it's your primary close-range PA. Spam Zero Distance on an enemy or clusters of enemies after using Gravity Bomb. Cluster Bullet: its AoE is pretty wide, and it's good for getting head shots; you must be at mid range.Upslotting, Augmenting \u0026 Affixing in PSO2
Cosmos Breaker: good for mobbing, a little slow to start up, but can be dive-rolled-cancelled out of to spam again, or to do something else. It has the ability to stun mobs and therefore can be cheap. Crazy Smash: good to quickly smack enemies away at point-blank range, if you need to JA into another PA quickly, or if you're facing a Darker Crab that's hiding its face or a rolling Gorongo. Sphere Eraser: can be a very good mobbing PA, particularly against clustered, or lined up enemies. Rodeo Dive: Good damage, and good for getting away from enemies, or closing the distance to enemies.
Flame Bullet: an "okay" close-range option. According to swiki, it ticks 13 times. I use it occasionally for a change, when I'm tired of Zero Distance spamming, or using Divine Launcher. Jumping Doge Left Ring is also very useful for Ranger as you can cheese through certain enemies and bosses. While using Gunslash in TPS mode, mainly perform: Additional Bullet for the shooting part and not the kicking part of the PA; also do the PA preferably while jumping, as it makes it easier to get headshots.
Flame bullet is fine and powerful in a few scenarios, it has good sustained damage and you can use it along sharpshooter and standing snipe fairly easily. Usually "stacked" with Cosmos.PSO2 gearing is not necessarily cryptic, but can be misleading. This guide will explain what to look out for and how to avoid falling into the costly trap known as Dudu.
For starters, here are some of the terms used to refer to PSO2 item stats. Notice that the ATK stat on the weapon is not highlighted. Same with DEF on units. General rule of thumb, you need Excubes. The higher the rarity, the more Excubes. Easy mode all the way. Choose a weapon with a damage-boosting potential.
Choose the better of the two between main and subclass. However, while Challenge Quests do not have a level requirement, it helps to know monster attack patterns. For weapons only. For Tech weapons, that goes into Element Conversion as a Force main.
The most painless way is to get two of the same weapons with the same element. Second easiest way is to get multiple copies of the same weapon with different element. With a Saiki set, it costsmeseta to affix Saiki with five fodders.
Otherwise, stick to units that are cheaper to affix like the Hiei set at 40, meseta for five fodders. Check Cirnopedia again. Razonde spreads out vertically from the top, so it hits a wider area from a double jump.
Double jump itself is also nice for parking in a safe spot while using techs.
Daggers that are even worth upgrading to? Also, does Fatal activity work even after reaching 1HP? Yeah, Kamui and Saika are the two that I wrote down. Saika is for the innate Megiverse which you can use to conveniently Tech JA into Sympho Drive for extra damage and healing.Account age rule: 24 hours. Installation Instructions. Official Patch Sites. I would still rather recommend people the Sub Weapons Barriers that you get for doing practice quest early, which give hp per unit.
Because chances are the real reason you're struggling is that you're dying from low HP. You get this when you complete a practice quest from Kofy, and then you can create 2 new characters and get 2 more for a full set of 3 units. When you're face down on the ground but alive, it still feels like shit when you have this slow getup, but when you're face down dead on the ground well you can't even work to get better until someone revives you.
Every single one of the people I've told this to has gotten infinitely better at the game because they can actually work on their mechanics instead of spending half the time face down on the ground waiting for a res while trying to learn. I'm sure even if I got a brissa set or whatever it'd still be the case though because this game is all about glass cannon builds. If you got to the point units matter and don't know how to Avoid the hurty things.? I can dance around fights all day on summoner, but getting used to the much smaller melee dodge on my tch is pain.
Then don't even try playing as ranger not only dodge is as crappy as melee but also with manual aiming mode your fov is much lower so you will be dying more often than all classes. In part because lock on sucks. I mean you mentioned summoner. It's a friggin' pain to get locked on to the part you want and then the boss flies away and breaks lock. Because i'd rather aim manually than doing it by script. I'm using auto lock on my summoner and it's clunky all the time especially when boss leaps out of the range and you are going to struggle again with auto locking that certain part.
It's ok, if we ever get crafting you can type-0 that one jump to the side while firing PA and use that to dodge instead. Playing a Ranger, I could definitely be more efficient but not being near enemies and dodging telegraphed boss attacks has meant I've only run out of heals when soloing fast melee enemies.
This, by definition, per-enemy and is not entirely transferable between pieces of content. You get more iteration time with learning said animations and patterns if you can stand up and try again when you get hit rather than lying afk dead on the ground waiting for a revive.
Is there any sort of rule of thumb or better yet, a calculator somewhere for how much HP and Defense you want relative to each other, or how much value you get from increasing one or the other? I haven't been able to to get an answer more technical than "HP is good until high levels," and finding resources online can be spotty at best. HP serves as a legitimate form of defense since restoring that HP is so easy.
Most of the time you only need to worry about surviving one big hit, rather than surviving multiple hits. All the items restore a flat percentage, megiverse will easily completely restore your hp, and Resta from most sources will do so as well until you get really high hp. Vampiric type weapons also easily keep you capped up on HP. The bonus to all of the HP you get is raw defense isn't the only defense there is.
Plenty of units come with percentage based resistances.
Hunter has intense resistance skills along with another successor class later on. The future class later on laughs at Hunters resistances even still, and it can be used as a subclass for Hunter which would stack. To be more specific, they said that HP was better until you get into ultra hard, at which point it's apparently fairly easy to keep your units updated. I'm fairly familiar with the ideas behind all of this, I'm just more familiar with a game like Warframe where I can do some quick math and determine what will give the greatest overall benefit.
I get the impression PSO2's damage calculations don't let you derive an EHP value as easily, though, so I'll settle for a good standard. And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
